Laurinda Is the best! I have seen her a couple times for a reoccurring injury. She is so intentional in her practice. She thinks five steps ahead. You can really feel that she cares. She has even sent me exercise recommendations
I’ve been working with Laurinda for about two years now and enjoy every session. I learn a lot about how to take care of myself in each session often leaving with videos for stretches and other resources. Laurinda is very knowledgeable and shares that knowledge openly. She is also good at checking what I’m interested in- some days we talk and other days we are quiet. She’s super respectful of the type of atmosphere you are looking for in each session and knows that changes.
Laurinda is exceptional! She has been pivotal in helping me reduce sports injury related pain, improve flexibility, and has helped to radically improve a hump that had been developing in my upper back. Laurinda has always been very kind and thoughtful in her treatment approach and demeanor. I can’t recommend her more highly and I refer friends to her often.
I had a facial with Jessel and it was incredible. She tailored the treatment to my unique skin and my face hasn’t looked this good in years. My rosacea has also shrunk from my whole cheek to a dime-sized patch thanks to her skincare advice. I would absolutely recommend Oakes and Alder to anyone in Tacoma looking for holistic skincare and top notch service.
Laurinda is incredible! Being a runner, Laurinda has saved my body through the years with her massage techniques and advice on how to properly stretch and take care of myself at home. She is a wealth of knowledge and a master at her craft! So thankful I found her!
