Amazing historic home full of period furnishings. Hosts are gracious, low key and made sure our stay was everything we wanted it to be. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and served on beautiful China table settings at the 12 person dining table - such a lovely experience! We were given a tour of the entire home and treated to interesting stories about its inception and life since 1897. Website photos and FB virtual tour just can't capture all the special aspects - you'll want to see it in person! We'll be going back soon.

A long-overdue review from our romantic getaway in March! I was certain I had already written a review—and taken more photos—but I must’ve been so swept away by the sheer luxury of our stay that I completely lost track. We stayed in the Sky Parlor room on the third floor, tucked away at the very top of the stairs. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the peaceful privacy our room offered. What a wonderful house! We stayed just one night in the Blue Room on the second floor. Very comfortable and clean, with safe, off street parking. Ruth Ann and Bob were attentive hosts and had wonderful stories about the house and the town. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast with other guests before departing early. A great choice if you find yourself with out a room in nearby Lanesboro.
