I love Oakdale Heights Assisted Living and I wish all communities for the elderly were run this way. I love coming here to visit my loved one because I know how well they take care of her. The care staff is amazing with her and treat her like she is family. The food is delicious, it is never something she complains about and it is always clean and staffed. This is a really nice community for seniors in the Redding area. The residents are well cared for, the feeling is just like home and the food is delicious. I have attended different events here and have had a great time every time. I am glad to know that this community is available when my grandparents are ready to make the move into senior living, as they have large apartments with patios and balconies and even allow pets, that will make it feel like a true extension of home.

We changed from the “best” assisted living place in Redding to Oakdale. Oakdale is a vast improvement over the other place. Our mom is getting great care in a more home like setting. She loves the food because it is less restaurant like and more like you’d cook at home. It’s a comfort thing. My Mother happily spent her last days at Oakdale. My sister just became a resident. Every staff member calls every resident by name. They want every resident to feel and know this is their home. Kris Boban, Executive Director, and Kealey Johnson, community Relations Director, set the warm, inclusive and kind feeling that permeates Oakdale.
