I had an amazing experience at Oakbrook LASIK! I got lasik surgery done a couple days ago and the staff, Dr. Pappas, the surgeon Dr. Chan, Chelsea, and Casey were all amazing and really helpful. They explained everything about the procedure and answered all my questions and concerns about it. I really enjoyed my time at Oakbrook LASIK! I recommend everyone who’s interested in doing LASIK to come here!
I had such an amazing experience at Family Eye Physicians Laser Center in Oakbrook. From start to finish, the entire staff was incredibly kind and professional. Chelsea, Cassy, and Val were all wonderful — they truly made the whole process smooth, comfortable, and so much less overwhelming. The doctors were just as amazing and took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt cared for every step of the way! I highly recommend them to anyone considering eye care or LASIK!

My spouse received the county care approval letter for lasik so we went over there for an eye exam. They told us we have to be there 9/23/2025 for the exam and 9/26/25 is the only date available for surgery within the next two months. Once we arrive, only 5 minutes and they told us she is not a candidate for lasik and she would have to pay out of pocket of $4995 for PRK. Then they put us in a room and offer us payment plans. My experience was amazing! I had surgery in August of 2025 and it has been so great. The experience overall with Family Eye Physicians Laser Center has been amazing. The staff, Chelsea, Casey, and Dr. Pappas have been so good in making my experience the best. There was another stuff member, he was very polite and helpful. Dr. Chen the day of surgery made me feel very safe and comfortable for my LASIK procedure. My vision is so good and I can finally see far away and I love it ! I don’t have to wear glasses any more.
