This place is wonderful. The host is so sweet. The place is decorated with beautiful artwork from local artists and photographers. A nice snack area and delicious breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.
I booked a reservation two weeks in advance and purchased insurance in case I needed to change the date. When I contacted the hotel to change the date of my reservation, I was told I would lose the money I paid for the room and I would have to pay again for the date change. When I inquired as to why, I was told it was a late cancellation because I needed to give a 30 day notice to change the reservation.
We reserved a room for the weekend before Spring Break so we could go visit our son who wasn’t coming home so he could work at SUNY Geneseo. We were very excited to go there and had the car all packed ready to leave. I decided to go to the basement to get my cats some extra food. When I opened the basement door, I could see 2 inches of water throughout the entire basement. Upon further inspection, we saw that there was a ton of damage. What a wonderful little place. It's so beautiful and well maintained. I love the style and the history. Everyone was so polite and pleasant to be around and with. All the artwork and the warplane museum room was so nice to have and enjoy! It really made me feel like we had visited a art gallery. The homemade breakfast was wonderful! The local coffee brewed beautifully. We stayed in the Heartland room with a beautiful clean Jacuzzi and fireplace! It's so beautiful we didn't want to leave.
