These apartments were not that great... There was ALWAYS college kids being loud, peeling out, dogs pooping in front of our door and us getting blamed, the pools were ALWAYS filled with TONS of people. Compared to other apartments, Oak Trees electric was very high! and we were even in an effecience apt.(Oak Trees effiency apt electric was higher than a spacious 1 bdrm at bosque) I was not very please with many things there although, the managment is nice, there was always a space to park in front of our door, and I loved the... read more
I have lived at the Oak Tree Apts for over a year, and though I am much older than the college kids, I have found the management to be caring and thoughtful. I have turned in requests for maintenance and they have installed lighting for added security, replaced a leaky faucet, sprayed for wasps, and done all in a timely manner. They have worked hard on the parking lots. The managers may party with the renters, but I recall getting a flier telling us that they would be, and that they want to encourage all renters to participa... read more
The manager parties with the students in the room above the raquetball courts and puke and alcohol are everywhere. They are nasty and nothing gets fixed. They allow constant partying and trash from their party friends. Regualar families should stay away, fast cars, drunk kids and management. The dishwasher was supposed to be fixed and the stove, for seven months neither worked. Very shotty, very expensive.
Compared to other apartments in Stephenville I felt the property owners were asking way too much for the efficiency apartments. The electric bill was higher than I had ever paid for an apartment in Dallas. The pools are always crowded with college students who do not live in the apartments. Along with this came the loud music and beer cans about the pool area. The pools were closed 3 times in the summer of 07 due to vandalism.
