We stayed here for 10 nights. Overall it was a relaxing stay. We reserved an end site (site A) that was 50amp, FHU and long enough for our 41' 5th wheel. It was nicely shaded as well. Would call the facility big rig do-able ... not necessarily big rig friendly. The campground was quiet even when it filled up on both weekends. They provided scheduled activities for kids on both weekends as well. As for sites, would recommend sites 1 - 7 or site A for FHU with the most room. This is a lovely family run campground with wide, level spaces and beautiful shade trees. The staff couldn't be nicer. A few spots are seasonal but the sites are well kept. The quiet country location makes for great relaxation and a good night's sleep.
This has been our 9th campground to stay at on this trip and Oak Park, by far, is one of our favorites! The staff was very welcoming and kind. Our site was spacious, we'll maintained, and had beautiful trees for shade. The campground itself is gorgeous, and offers many amenities. A well stocked camp store, pool, playground and roads that are great for walking. The bathroom and shower facilities were well maintained and clean.
