This place is ridiculous. So you are aware that we are not loud boisterous people, I encourage you to read the other reviews which state the same information. While the facilities are nice, the staff are unbearable. We arrived at 8:30pm while the sun had barely set, and our children were not allowed to use the play structure. When they switched to riding bikes, the park staff wouldn’t let them do that either. There are so many rules that are strictly enforced. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I've been full time for 3 years and Oak Park ranks amongst my top 3 fav spots. The staff are remarkably kind, helpful and have a sense of humor. The grounds are manicured and shaded. Plenty of trails and places to walk my dog. Pool is nice, heated by a big wood fired stove. Pizza and wood delivery to your site. Great quiet camp ground. Easy to get to. Lots for the kids to do. Enjoyed our visit here.
We love this campground! Beautiful shade trees and nice campsites! We hope to be here for the summers! It's close to North Branch where my daughters family, my granddaughters are. They are 7 and 9 and want to be close! I hear they do a lot of things for the kids! I'm adding on now after 6 years! Janet and Mike are great owners. Mike, Lori and George are great workers and people! We love being here each summer!
