Bought 30 bags, was surprised that I could not get my stove above 300, did some research to find out that they only cook the wood just enough to certify it " kiln dried" then I went back to where I bought wood before and was told "We cook it for 40 hrs" and yes I can get my stove to 300 with 2 pieces of wood. I have to say that oak mountain on grucci ln is a great operation which I was impressed.... but the moisture content of the wood is way to high
They consistently offer firewood at a fair price.
Trash wood... 1/2 moldy... doesn't burn -- not kiln dried... buyer beware...
Wood is bad I don’t even know what to do going out to garage it’s so bad I can’t believe this
I got 2 cords from this place beginning of December. Wood is filthy and it’s not all seasoned firewood like I paid for . 75% or more of the wood is green wood that’s covered in mud to make it look seasoned. Moisture meter testing a piece of freshly split wood that’s been stacked and covered for 2 months. Still showing over 50-60%. Absolute scam. They even dropped off 12 bags of kiln dried firewood to “help me get the fire hot enough to burn the other wood” their exact words to me. Ridiculous.
