Water was shut off for non payment... only problem is I am on auto pay. No notice of non payment either. Had to sit on phone waiting. Lady who helped was super nice though. They corrected their mistake...but had to wait half the day for them to come back out to turn it back on. Was told it was their new billing system and others have had this same issue. So why are you shutting the water off without checking or even sending a notice when you have a known issue? This is on you guys...please do better and fix this!

Terrible automated system and the town of Oak Island has no kind of app to pay your utility bill. We’re in the 21st century and customer service is a thing of the past, so why not get an APP for the customers you work for?
