I always have a great experience! Always greeted when I walk through the door even if there isnt anyone at the desk. Staff is friendly and its very clean. I love coming here.
Patti is hands down the most talented stylist I have ever met. Every time I sit in her chair I leave with the best hair of my life. I came here for the first time two weeks ago to get a manicure before my wedding. I came with my bridesmaids and mom, and we all had the best time. Oak & Iron provided muffins, fruit, and mimosas for us and the staff were all so welcoming. Sam did a pretty marble art on my nails with hints of pink to match the bridesmaids dresses, and besides some nail growth, they still look just as good two weeks later! I used to come to this salon regularly and always appreciated the service. However, I stopped coming after calling to schedule a wash and cut for my daughters, who have beautiful curly Afro-Latina coils. I was told at the time that no one was comfortable doing their hair. No consultation or photos were requested. Just a flat “no.” It’s more than just a haircut, it’s about my daughters feeling seen, cared for, and included. Overall wonderful experience. Got a tat done next day after getting my hair done. There is a pretty bad disconnect/mis communication between the different areas as i asked about getting a tattoo and patti completely just blew it off. Also patti is good with dramatic cuts. NOT soft layering. I asked for soft layering for a more 70s goddess vibe. Shes does not know how to use a straight edge to create the desired effect i wanted and instead just used her shears.
