I wish I could give a zero star. My experience with Oak Hill Cemetery has been disappointing due to the apparent lack of maintenance and upkeep throughout the property. Many graves are covered with overgrown grass, making it difficult to locate and properly visit love ones. The roads throughout the cemetery are in poor condition and are in need of paving and repair. Oak Hill Cemetery has been neglected and could use a sprucing up that matches the respect we have for our loved ones entombed here.
Visited my husband…it’s sad how the up keep on the cemetery is so disappointing… the grass is overflowing horribly and no one seems to care…. So so sad
Awful roads within the cemetery. The grounds are also poorly kept up.
There is an angel at Oak Hill Cemetery, and she sits behind the front desk. Her name is Lynelle, and she patiently helped me as I picked out a long overdue headstone for my beloved great aunt, Ida Mae. Lynelle was kind, caring , and professional. She provided the necessary information I needed to make a beautiful choice. The groundskeeper, Vince, was also extremely helpful too by helping me locate a loved one. Very pleased!
