My mother Aurora was a resident at Oak Haven Assisted Living from May through August 25, 2023. On August 23 our mom entered the active dying stage, and our family was going to spend 24/7 with her. That emotional day Oak Haven staff informed us of a new policy that prohibits family members from using the kitchen. The facility is clean, uncluttered and nicely appointed. There are well-kept outside covered patio areas, several of them to allow for privacy and quiet as well as socializing. The Staff is caring and calm. Management is also caring and positive in assistance to both residents and family members. That is very appreciated. Good people. I feel good that Mom is there.

I recently placed my brother at Oak Haven Assisted Living because I found the staff very knowledgeable, kind and respectful of the residents. The property is clean, warmly decorated, spacious and feels like home. The residence is located on a large private lot with mountain views. It is a very pleasant home located in a quiet safe community. I know the community well because my home is located nearby.

I visited this home to recommend it to a friend. I found the home very bright and cheerful. There was no foul odor. The 3 caregivers that I spoke to came across as loving their position. They gave stories of personal care and that impressed me. The clients were clean and neat. They were up in chairs watching TV. I would highly recommend this home for care.
