Update. I recently learned the event I attended is the only group that gets special permission to camp there. Camping isn't allowed otherwise. It's just a picnic place. Sorry if I mislead some folks. Great place for tent camping. Lots of level land. Remember to bring a rake to clear pine cones and twigs. This is primitive camping. Bring your own water. Bathrooms? Yes. But no lights, flushing toilets, or showers. So you're roughing it. But the trails and landscape are beautiful.
Quiet place for a picnic lunch along a stream. Would be a great overnight spot but no camping. Zero Verizon service.
