Greedy new management. Terrible, do not recommend. Outrageous rent prices and fees.
This place used to be great with BH management until Focus took over. Jacked up the prices on everything- wash and dry went up twice from $3.50 to wash and dry one load to $4.20 for one load. 2 of the 4 dryers in my building have been broken for months and they have the same lousy excuse that they’re “waiting for parts”. When this place was owned by BH it was nice. As soon as Focus took over it went down hill. They tore up all the greenery and replace it with grey rock. They told us this was an “upgrade”. They placed creepy signs all over reminding us of the rules. Then I got my lease renewal proposal. They wanted an extra $120 in rent, an additional $20 per pet each month, and they added a $40 “maintenance fee”. It was cheaper for me to buy a house than continue to rent with them. New rental company jacked up prices. Focus management further only has one maintenance personson on staff. My shower has been unusable for over 16 hours and they just “hope” they can get to it today. Significantly worse than the last company, who charged $300 less.
Holy moly... just got notified of a rent increase (and my apartment hasn't been updated)... $40 more just in rent, $20 more per dog per month, $29.99 because I have a 2nd vehicle, $40 so they'll shovel snow, take care of the parking lot, pick up the ever loving dog sh*t that people leave behind, clean "common areas". Looking at switching to a month-to-month so I can get the heck outta here. Only perk is they allow larger dogs.
