If I could give them zero stars, I would! First off, we DO NOT recommend Oak City Contracting to do any kind of work on your home! We requested Jermel Lewis of Oak City to replace the flashing at the roof line and this is the type of work he produced. When I asked him to return to correct the mess he left, if this was representative of all their work, he cussed me out (really!) and told me to find someone else. A huge thanks to Jermel for taking valuable time out of his busy day to replace a pipe boot on my roof. I had another roofer attempt this before, but apparently relying on sealant was just amateur hour. Jermel explained this at length—before installing what appears to be…the exact same mismatched boot, with the exact same approach. Truly cutting-edge craftsmanship.
