Kevin is an experienced mechanic and communicates very well. He comes across extremely honest. It is great to work and talk directly with somebody who is hands on and knows what he’s talking about. Repairs were completed quickly and at a fair price. Lots of options were offered to suit my budget.
Kevin at Oak City Car Care is wonderful. He’s honest, fair, very knowledgeable and so patient with all the questions I may have. Scheduling an appointment has been so easy! 10/10 would recommend!
The best in town! Very pleased with finding a locally owned shop I can trust. Routine maintenance on my 2018 Ford Mustang was thorough and Kevin walked me through all of his findings. We have found our new car care home. Thank you Oak City Car Care!!!
Our car wouldn't start as we were trying to drive out of town at 4pm. He was super helpful when we called and we were able to get the car towed to his shop that evening. He even stayed after to be there when we dropped off the car which we did not expect. 10:30 the next morning and we're already on the road. It was a quick fix fortunately and he even replaced my key fob battery which I'd neglected to replace for a while. It was a best case scenario and we are glad to have found a local shop we can trust.
I put out a plea on Facebook asking if anyone knew of a mechanic that could work on the transmission for my 2011 Nissan Maxima. The shop we normally use had checked it out and said I needed to replace the transmission and estimated the cost at $4500 - $5500. I called other shops for prices and was told the same.
