Kevin and Oak City Car Care are the best! My first experience here was perfect! Easy to get on schedule, quick service, fair price. Kevin was honest and easy to talk to. Beyond the great service, he was able to provide very helpful insight and advice on the overall state of my 2012 Honda Civic which has seen better days. Definitely will be my go to mechanic!
I can't tell you how grateful I am to have found Kevin. I found him through a recommendation on Nextdoor. I went to another mechanic who said he thought my issue was a bad head unit. I didn't agree (not that I didn't have a bad head unit but that it was not the cause of my issue). I bit the bullet and took my car to the Lexus Dealership. Kevin is an incredible mechanic and runs a very honest shop. I go to him for all of my car maintenance needs. He goes out of his way to look for reasonable ways to cut down your costs. My personal experience with him is that I needed my transmission rebuilt. He sent my car to a third-party for the rebuild and the cost at the end was higher than originally quoted.
