We had a recent storm bring a portion of our tree down on the house. Oak Bros very promptly and carefully removed it minimizing further damage. They removed the remaining trunk and stump with minimal yard scuffing, and black dirt backfill. Great job! Very professional operation...

I had two very large oak trees to be cut down. I got three estimates for the trees. Oak Bros were by far the most inexpensive. One tree service, in Decatur Illinois was $9000 more. It really does pay to take the time to get quotes. They did such a good job. They arrived at 8:30 and were finished around two. They cleaned up after themselves and no debris was left. I had my stumps ground a week later. Now I am waiting for the mulch to be removed.

The Aupperle family is giving Oak Bros a 5 star review on tree trimming work they completed on July 1, 2026. The service was extremely timely from the initial bid process to the work completion. Oak Bros did exactly what they said they would do. The crew worked in the intense heat of July 1st and never blinked. The tree trimming performed was done as requested. I had an issue with my sawtooth oaks bark splitting (8" vertically) open and gapping (1/2") from the core at the base of my tree. Aaron explained that when the tree gypsies planted my tree, they put it to deep. Also, the pavers and gravel I had around the base to make it esthetic, along with the winters could be the cause of the bark freezing and then splitting at the base.
