What a wonderful eatery. Wandered in here around 1:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. We wrre graciously seated by Daniel and he offered great input about the best items on the menu. The food was quick, fresh and a fantastic blend if flavors and textures that just worked (almost magically) together. Came to town from out of state for a work trip and Oak was recommended by a few locals. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the 2 meat (went for double brisket and the jalapeño Mac) with side dish and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best briskets I have had in a long time. The server told me ahead time that they serve more fatty briskets which I was all about and it did not disappoint. Wonderful service shout out the bar tender dog friendly
We got the chorizo, brisket and smoked wings and they were all fantastic. The Mac and cheese was so good and had this garlic flavor to it so it was really savory, and the brisket was TENDER. The wings were smoky and really crispy which was perfect since that’s why we came. Dani was the nicest and checked on us every chance she had to make sure everything went the way we liked.
