They have had NO air conditioning for about a month. The place is very hot and smelly with little air circulation. The water comes out warm from the fountains . The paper towel holders half the time are empty. It is unsafe to go there due to the heat and a heart condition.
Jerry at O2 Fitness was so helpful and friendly when we used our Silver Sneakers while vacationing in Wilmington. He made us feel very welcome.

It's a nice gym with friendly people all around. My issues are with the tidiness and cleanliness: There is not enough disinfecting sprays throughout the gym so I rarely see people clean their area after working out. The weights are all over place and you have to hunt for a 35lb or 45lb frequently. It's a nice gym but it has a couple flaws
Overall, a good gym with solid equipment. Staff are friendly and professional. Facility is clean and as sanitary as a gym can be. Maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. A/C has been down a month, and does not appear to be a priority. No portable A/C units or other efforts to cool the facility have occurred. A few months ago, there was an extended issue with the plumbing, causing leaks and the bathrooms to be closed. If maintenance were in better order, gym would deserve another star.
