The best decision we ever made starting our project was to use a private builder and engaging Shane from O’Neil building and renovations. We had paid a small deposit to start proceedings with a large Home Building Company when we met. O’Neil construction completed a rear deck and side boat shed. All hard wood with the look we were going for achieved. Easy person to get along with and work with to get what we wanted. Completed with no trouble of certification. Thanks Shane
Very happy with the high quality of the work and Shane’s general approach and attitude. He was supportive of discussing options for our works, helping us work to a budget and in the end he went above and beyond for us. I did see the negative reviews and all I can say is there is two sides to every story.
Shane is fantastic. He gets the job done on time and to great detail aswell.
Shane was really charming and engaging upfront and we were excited to work with him. However, from the outset he was very disorganised and lacked attention to detail. This unfortunately led to a lot of problems for us. He became defensive and disgruntled with our attempts to help him manage his schedule, and pushed aggressively for payments ahead of when his work for a given stage was complete.
