About a month ago, I came to get medium box braids, instead she showed me a picture of medium, and gave me small. So small to the point where, almost 3 weeks into having the hairstyle, three of my braids slipped out. I went to a different braider in a completely different store and they told me the parts were too small for the front of my head. A week or two goes by and four more slip out just by pulling on the added hair. If I was 3 years ago, I truly wouldn’t have written this review
My appointment required a little extra attention because I recently big chopped. I sent them a picture before hand and they said they could work with it. First mistake is they put a child on my head. I didn’t really like that being that she doesn’t have much experience and Is charging just as much as the experienced braiders. Still gave her a chance and of course, as anticipated, the work was sloppy and subpar. I think the lack of length was just too much for her inexperienced hands.
