I never leave negative reviews but feel compelled to warn people about this emergency department. Came after a bad fall and doctor ended up completely misdiagnosing me and imaging the wrong area of my back. I found out two weeks later I have a fracture in my spine after this ER sent me home telling me I was completely fine. Doctor only spent 2 minutes examining me despite me being brought in via ambulance and ended up taking 4 hours just to get an x-ray of the wrong area. Just want to say a Big Thank You to Dr. Max Parker, Neurologist. A very intelligent young man with excellent bedside manner and very thorough deduction process. NYU is lucky to have him.
Great experience overall, great staff. Some wait time but it wasn’t that bad and that’s to be expected in an Emergency Room in America unfortunately
Nyu is amazing I had a terrible case of strep throat. Previously, I went to a urgent care who provided me with a minimum effort and treatment. Thought I was dying couldn’t swallow eat or anything nyu did their research found out the strep created an infection with a abscess. They sent me a ENT doctor at two in the morning. He was very nice and drained it. I instantly felt better. They don’t make you wait too long and they are extremely thorough in a lazy society this is a breath of fresh air if I fall down and scrape my knee... read more
Excellent customer service. From check in, to the follow up phone call the next day my experience was 5 stars. They were fast and efficient, kind and made sure I was comfortable my entire visit. Each employees I encountered gave nothing short of a 5 star experience
