Horrible!!!! I had to wait 5 months to see a specialist for my toddler who has a nut allergy to find out how severe it is. When I asked and pleaded for an earlier appointment they said they were unable to give an earlier appointment and I was given Epipen to walk around with just in case. I was 15 minutes late for my appointment and they refused to see him so now I’m back to this uncertainty of not knowing what this allergy is and how to properly care for him.
The office is always understaffed, wait times are long. Had multiple appointments cancelled by the office due to lack of staffing, and took forever to reschedule, resulting in multiple delays in treatment. Everything here takes forever. Frequent staff turnover - we saw a different doctor/fellow every time, nurses always changing - with poor handoffs and miscommunications. Definitely do not recommend this practice.
I had my first appointment here at this location today. Staff members were friendly. Dr. Mawhirt and her assistant were really great with explanations. There was an option to either do patches or blood work and the blood work was quick and easy as well.
I was put on a new medicine and the fellow. Said she must watch my blood work .When I left my appt I. Was told to make another in 2 months, they did not have next year's calender. To call back. When I called they. Offered me a appt. For Mar 24th. You call this service.

It was only after being diagnosed with an immune disorder (and being directly referred to them by my neurologist) that I was finally able to be seen…two months after the original referral. I find this completely RIDICULOUS. That a practice could get away with operating this way is disgusting. NYU Langone’s mission is to assist patient care, NOT obstruct it. This practice has highly skilled ... read more
