The staff here is very friendly and professional. I had a mammogram done here, and the female assistant was a little rough with the machine. I would not want her to ever do my mammogram again.
Lovely staff
I have been going to this location for years. Never had a problem. I called in April to make an appointment for June for an annual mamo and also a sonogram. I had not had a sono in a few years and my dr suggested it since I have dense breasts. The man I made the appointment with stated if the sono is not covered I would have to pay $175. Two weeks before my appt I received an email stated the sono would be $375 without insurance. Terrible. Go to Manhattan locations - so much better. This place clearly does not have the well oil machine management or culture of NYU. I love NYU but this location needs work. The front desk both at 204 and 101 are rude, condescending, and act like they are doing you a favor. They make you check in 4 times - app, kiosk, Amazon, desk. They demand your insurance card even though it’s on file - the make you remind them that you are in the waiting room when it’s your appointment time as a punishment for arriving early. I went here for the first time to do my mammogram and the tech tried to be caring about putting my breast in the machine. I deal with costochondritis and it was hurting. she said breathe and it is almost done. Oh the pain I felt. I wish they would do it more gently and not press so hard. Oh and by the way before the test begun a fire alarm goes off and had to put on my gown and coat on. That was scary enough.
