I had an accident in 2020 then one in April 2024. Unfortunately May 2024 a driver rear-ended me while I was in the rental. Needless to say this insurance company did not go after the other insurance,as it clearly was his fault. NYCM dropped me after almost 15 years. I am now forced to pay $5,000 a year verses the $1,400 I paid with them. I will now drop them as my homeowner insurance company.

PLEASE READ BEFORE DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM: I made $1,100 down payment (in July 2023) and $573 monthly for a liability insurance, because I’m considered an inexperienced driver (I’ve had my license since 2022) with a speeding ticket….. After 6 months of payment without getting into any trouble, my insurance is supposed to reduce to $375 monthly. But these guys cancelled my insurance in November because apparently there was a questionnaire they sent me and I didn’t fill out. I’ve never missed a payment but I drive a lot ... read more

So far my experience has been ok but these reviews are scary. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a company with this many bad reviews 🤦‍♂️

The absolute worst part of our house fire was NYCM NIGHTMARE IT IS NOT JUST THE HEALTHCARE INSURANCE Let me describe new york central mutuals handling of our claim in two words TRAIN WRECK . How do you sleep at nite? FY hiedi and your bosses. One star is way too much.

They are the absolute worst company to deal with. The absolute worst. At a basic level, they do not know how to run a company. Will be contacting NY AG next
