Section 8 in the Bronx is horrible, when documents are given are lost, have to go several times to straighten out, about phone service is agonizing takes over an hour to get a response, employees there do a horrible job
First and foremost, this building doesn't have an elevator and isn't handicapped accessible!! For elders that have walking equipment such as wheelchairs or rollaters, they only have access to an elevator in another building at the opposite end of the street. Secondly, the NYCHA Reps are rude, insensitive, unprofessional, uninformed, incompetent, lazy, and lack professional courtesy. I dread having to deal with the serious errors caused by staff members who lack training and intelligence to do their simple yet important jobs ... read more
