About this business

Specialties: We offer professional jewelry appraisals in a part of midtown which takes social distancing seriously. The MetLife Building, located next to Grand Central Terminal, is an iconic building with a spacious lobby and numerous elevators that makes it very easy to take one by yourself. Our reception area is very large and we conduct our appraisals in a large boardroom where there is 12' distancing, unlike before covid with small offices and meeting across a desk. Robert Bunda nice gig you got going. I don't care if this man had a1000 positive reviews. He was a disaster. ITS A SMALL ROOM he sits at his desk comparing your pieces to what's on 1st bids and other auction sites (brilliant) He also uses google images which everyone does already. You don't need him. As far as the knowledge he claimed to know he couldn't recognize the stamps on my peices and claimed there worth scrap. One pair of earings he said was worth just the small amount of gold I sold for $7000, I was going to call hi... read more

We did a bunch of web searches and got quotes from a number of appraisers, and they were all much higher than we expected. Then we found Robert. What a refreshing discovery! He inspected the items, told us what they might be worth, and guided us through the whole process of finding a buyer and selling. Robert ... read more

I was in contact with the team about receiving an appraisal for a set of rings and never heard back from them after I sent in photos of the pieces. If they were not able to accommodate, a response back would have been courteous.
