In 1972 I became involved with the Decorative Arts in my Family’s Antique Business in Australia that specializes in Diamond, Pearl, Antique & Estate Jewelry. In 1987 I relocated to NYC where I worked for the auction house Doyle New York. Robert Bunda nice gig you got going. I don't care if this man had a1000 positive reviews. He was a disaster. ITS A SMALL ROOM he sits at his desk comparing your pieces to what's on 1st bids and other auction sites (brilliant) He also uses google images which everyone does already. You don't need him. We were so lucky to find Robert Bunda! He exceeded our expectations in every way. We recently inherited some jewelry that no one in the family wanted and we were having trouble getting it appraised and finding a buyer. We did a bunch of web searches and got quotes from a number of appraisers, and they were all much higher than we expected. Then we found Robert. What a refreshing discovery! I was in contact with the team about receiving an appraisal for a set of rings and never heard back from them after I sent in photos of the pieces. If they were not able to accommodate, a response back would have been courteous.
Robert Bunda went out of his way to help me with appraisals of watches and jewelry. I would definitely go back. Highly recommend.
