Not only did my husband get a superb cut from the owner, we both learned about the history of barber shops: the meaning of the striped pole, etc. The shop is full of fascinating memorabilia. Highly recommend, for a great cut and an experience!
A hidden gem in NYC! The NYC Barber Shop Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in barbering or just looking to explore a unique piece of the city's history. Admission is free, and the collection of antique barber tools and chairs is amazing.
