Dr Duany is very professional, kind, personable, and knowledgeable. She repaired my large rotator cuff tear with a graft and I’m healing well and feeling great. I will definitely refer her to others and return to her if I have a need for any surgical procedure that requires her speciality. She is amazing! I had a very good experience with her and all her staff that I came in contact with, from the front desk, to the MA's to the surgery scheduler and the check out staff. All were great!
A year ago (12/7/2023), Dr Duany operated on my right shoulder to repair the rotator cuff. A year later, it feels like it has never happened. When I first step into Dr Duany's office, she accurately diagnosed the root of my symptoms. She scheduled and reviewed all pre-ops labs. I scheduled an appointment. I drove to Norton hospital and it was a nightmare in their parking garage. I'd advise anybody to not park there because 0 availability and then you're stuck. I was on time and hobbled with my painful knee to her suite 401. Guess what, she wasn't there. Her receptionist was very rude stating they had called me to tell me Doctor had flight issues. I’ve seen her twice for knee injuries, and both times she was great. Thorough, smart and well versed in her area of care, and kind. My recovery after surgery was long, but I felt like I had a good team guiding me through with Dr. Duany.
