I wish they would bring more evening classes. Realistically speaking , most ppl workout after work. I heard thry were bringing in belly dancing which I hope they do. Zumba class is OK but can be better. Haven't taken the other classes as I could never make it in time. Great facility ,but should offer more .

I love the NYA fitness center! I currently live in another state but come to the NYA whenever I visit my family. The fitness center has everything I want in a gym, including free weights and strength and cardio machines. My favorite part is the training room with the black floor - it has everything I want for practicing calisthenics skills like pull-ups and handstands. Was there for an event. Nice facility and would rate it higher, but - Saturday the bathroom was kept immaculately clean, Sunday was atrocious and disgraceful. Heard that someone changed their baby on the floor. I never saw a changing station, but I wasn't looking for one. Family bathroom was either always in use (really???) or locked. Parking challenges due to other events and reserved parking. Electrical issues throughout the weekend... my guess is that the issue was poor communication between the facility and the event org... read more
