We took the 4th of July Fireworks cruise out of Port Imperial, and had a fantastic experience. Our captain had us FRONT AND CENTER for the Macy’s fireworks over the Brooklyn Bridge. And from our location we could also see the NJ fireworks show. Amazing experience and perfect vantage point for the fireworks.
I've recently moved to Port Imperial. I was ecstatic to hear that the shuttle buses are free to get me in closer to midtown 42nd, making me much more likely to take the ferry more often compared to NJ transit. I think the service is timely and great. The rides across the water have all been comfortable. The bus itself is also fine for a short ride into work, getting stuck on the avenues as we all do. I want to emphasize how the service is fine, the workers are fine - but there may be work to be done in decreasing the negativ... read more
