Best pizza in the city, the quintessential New York slice
Was out late on a weekday and my mom wanted pizza, so we came here. It was good! There’s a huge variety of slices to choose from that i got a bit overwhelmed. Since we came pretty late at night a lot of slices were sold out. We ordered reg slice of cheese, white garlic, fig, and upside down (square slice). Historic and a staple for a reason. Amazing sauce and quality toppings
You know what? Pretty solid! A bit old school (seems like a place my dad would love), and one of my slices was a little long in the tooth, but I can’t argue with the speed or with that Margarhitta or NY Sicilian. Good ingredients, good consistency. Unc’s still got it. Maybe not my all-time, but a good family spot in a good location with a nice atmosphere and lots of seating.
