If you suffer from migraines, beware of this place. The office staff are extremely rude and inefficient, and although the doctors are lovely and perfectly capable, the office is ran very poorly and the staff will make your life a living hell. They don't pick up phone calls. They don't get back to you for prescription requests. They don't answer the text message line they give you on their answering machine for billing and refill issues. The front desk staff at the Gramercy location is terrible (Tiffany at UWS is amazing though). After months of the staff at Gramercy not returning calls, I was finally able to get an appointment scheduled due to Tiffany’s help. Dr. Kaplan is amazing. The front desk staff sucks. Deena thinks she is the owner of the practice and has no customer service skills.
My partner visited this center for migraines. They’ve rescheduled her appointment 5 times, over a period of nearly 3 months, with only 1 staff member expressing any sort of apology for the continued delays. Whenever we’ve gone in for an appointment, they run at least 30-60 minutes late. I’d recommend finding a neurologist outside of the city before recommending coming here.
The experience with NY Neurology Associates is abysmal. I was given multiple orders for testing. I scheduled one of the test with office on 7 Grammarcy location. After arriving on time, I waited for more than an hour. After an hour the receptionst told that I wasn't scheduled for testing, and after another time they told that the testing was already done. No apologies, only intimidation from the stuff and shouting. This is absolutely inappropriate, I would encourage everyone to avoid this practice at all costs.
