I was excited to book NY Catering Service for a corporate luncheon, but communication from the start was a headache. Emails went unanswered for days, and getting contract details took multiple follow-ups. Even when I finally got a quote, it lacked clarity on headcounts and service staffing—leaving me unsure whether they were even prepared.
NY Catering Service arrived 30 minutes late, started setting up with missing utensils and chafing dishes, and seemed unprepared. Guests were left waiting while staff scrambled to find serving spoons and plates. The food grew cold quickly, and cleanup started before everyone was finished. All in all, the event felt rushed and amateurish. It was supposed to be a polished celebration—but instead turned into a logistical mess.
Had a birthday party for my wife. Just wanted to relax with the kids and grandkids in the pool and not stress about anything. Let me tell you, Chris and Chris came in and took care of everything!! Prepping everything from feeding the grandkids to passing freshly made appetizers and serving a multi course dinner! Set the table, cleared the dishes poured the wine, everything! Exceptional food and hospitable and empathetic in a chaotic party situation with tons of babies and toddlers on a hot day; cannot recommend enough.
