Extremely relieved to be done renting through Nxtgen and disappointed in this local small business. Based on our experience, we have found that the owner Lauren frequently encourages her team members to use bully tactics on the phone and email to be manipulative and deceitful. This started with increasing the rent before we signed the agreement and ended with them trying to keep us in town on the day we were due to leave Townsville; otherwise they would take our bond, citing their policies override the RTA’s. I currently have my property being managed with Nxtgen and honestly, they've been absolutely fantastic! Right from the start Lauren and her team have been a massive help, right throughout us initially buying the property to managing it on a day to day basis. Glad to not have to deal with this company ever again. Loyal tenant for 7 years, always 2 weeks in front in rent, looked after property like it was our own. Priced out of the property due to current market which is fair enough in this day and age and we accepted that, but the lack of respect and communication upon moving out was appalling. Property manager never once would take a phone call or come to the front counter, always hid out the back and was unavailable.
