Not a good experience at all. My husband had a heart loop inserted in March. I got no feedback or anything from Dr Nwaukwa or 'the company' who was suppose to monitor it. Took my husband to Houston and found THE BEST CARDIOLOGIST ever. First visit, he got records, plus contacted 'the company' that was suppose to monitor it and went back for the second visit and this THOROUGH doctor found A-FIB right away. Surgery is planned and I couldn't be more satisfied. You have to go OUTSIDE OF BEAUMONT to get a GOOD DOCTOR!!
I had and appointment for a stress test, I left my wallet in the car in which had my 30 dollar co pay. I asked the receptionist can I bring it to her after the test she said no, I asked to speak to the doctor she would not let me. I left without my test. I am quite sure he is unaware of this.
I saw Dr. Nwaukwa at Baptist hospital and my second day there he diagnosed me with atrial fibrillation. I previously had gone to a local hospital twice, the first time I was admitted and the second I was released from the ER. It was never caught. Dr. Nwaukwa is very good. He and his nurse explained every procedure in words I could understand and he's a very pleasant gentleman. Plus his office staff is very nice. Do I recommend him? Yes I do.
The staff is excellent. The were very accommodating and answered all my questions. Dr. Nwaukwa was also excellent. He listened to me and explained everything so that I understood.
Dr. Nwaukwa knew right away what my problem was and scheduled me for an Arteriogram right away. Everything went as planned. His assistants were very courteous and helpful, as were the medical staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Thank you.
