The mortgage process was unnecessarily chaotic, stressful, and mishandled to such a degree that it nearly caused the entire transaction to collapse. I should have looked up NVR prior to building my home with Ryan homes. All of the reviews are correct. NVR is the absolute worst mortgage company there is. Ryan home itself is great but NVR I would never recommend. All of their staff NEVER responds to any emails. Zero communication. Changed my interest rate last minute. Absolute nightmare. It took four months to hear back. Never again. Do not use them. This is also my second home with Ryan homes. My first I did the use NVR for this home I am and it is my biggest regret.
If I could give 0 stars, that rating would still be too high. I bought in the Lehigh Valley PA and if Ryan homes tries to tell you to use this group; RUN! NVR mortgage is the biggest most unprofessional; uneducated, careless, unethical mortgage department I have ever come across. A wet paper bag can do a better job than this ratchet organization. BUYER BEWARE: NVR Mortgage is a Nightmare! I am beyond disappointed with NVR Mortgage and strongly advise any home buyer to steer clear of this incompetent company. NVR is hands down the worst lender you could get stuck with for a VA home loan. They are grossly incompetent, and half the time it feels like they’re not just clueless — they’re scheming. The VA should honestly ban them from ever touching veteran loans. They don’t follow VA rules, they ignore customers, and they love slipping shady contracts under your nose like you won’t notice.
