Cancelled day of for our elementary school carnival leaving a lot of disappointed families and kids. There was very little communication on their end and they still haven’t refunded the deposit for something that was their fault. Not reliable, do not recommend for any events.
This company canceled our Photo Booth 30 minutes before they were supposed to show up to a school carnival. Now they won’t reply to our multiple emails and won’t refund the deposit the school paid. There are plenty of other small businesses out there that deserve your business so definitely don’t use this place. Especially one that rips off an elementary school.
They cancelled on us with less than 30 minutes before our event started: The great reviews others left were initially what drew us to contracting with Nuwave for our school carnival that typically sees between 500-700 people attending. I would not recommend NuWave DJs to anyone. They unexpectedly cancelled our photo booth last minute (literally 27 minutes until our event started) so I had no time to find another photo booth for an elementary school carnival. What has made the situation even worse is that they refused to refund my deposit, even though the cancellation was entirely on their end. And this was for a public school in Jeffco. We highly recommend Devin! We had a blast at our wedding thanks to him. He played music that kept the dance floor full all night. He is very accommodating with our requests and was easy to work with. We also utilized a photobooth, and people loved it. There were props, and we got some fun candid photos of our guests. I only wish each guest had made their way to take photos, but what can you do?!
