Had an appointment this morning at 9:30 with Doctor Kenneth Cheung and I was checked in by a great receptionist named Monika, who had great customer service. She was super nice and helpful. I was then taken to my appointment room by a medical assistant named Felicia who was also extremely nice. Great at her job, made me feel comfortable before my doctor came in and she’s a great conversationalist. Overall the office is very people friendly. My elderly mother has received excellent care here for several years now with several different doctors. Each one has been kind, smart and attentive. We have never felt rushed. The staff the front desk are very friendly and it's very easy to make an appointment for the same day. Dr. Cheung was great and really listened to my concerns. There is also lots of parking and it's easy to get to. I may switch my own primary care to here!
I went to do blood work and get my physical with my doctor and they charged me $350 dollars. The doctor requested that I get blood work done before my appointment at their facility. Apparently my insurance didn’t cover blood work at their facility but did at Quest but they did not tell me that. So I got blood work done not knowing that I wasn’t covered. Calling and asking very simple questions takes at least 20 minutes (e.g. do you provide stand alone TB tests for work or do you have to make a complete physical appointment, Yes I am a current patient this is my PCP office - the poor receptionist was going back and forth between me and I'm assuming a Dr. or medical assistant who was making A SIMPLE QUESTION INTO AN ENTIRE ORDEAL). Not to mention, heaven forbid your maiden and married name do not match on IDs and health insurance information, they will make you wait 30 minute... read more
