To the clients who gave Nuvance a bad review. You are all WRONG! I am a new patient and from what I see is Madelyn Smith seems to be an awesome Doctor! She addresses your concerns and listens to you to give you the best possible care I believe I have an excellent future with Nuvance Health! To me as a patient, that is an excellent professional way to do business taking care of her clients!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have a lifelong disability that any PCP I have should know about. I discussed it during my first annual exam at Nuvance when the NP asked if there was anything else she should know about, and I answered honestly. Nuvance then refused to bill my insurer for the appointment as an annual exam, which meant I needed to pay for it out of pocket. How can I have a PCP that I must lie to during my annual exam? Why am I treated unfairly and charged extra by Nuvance for telling my NP about my disability?
I had an appointment this May scheduled almost a year ago with Dr. Stephanie Carro-Kowalcyk. I get a call 4 days before my visit from their office saying that they have to reschedule my appointment. "Ok", I said, "when will it be". Earliest was February! Are you kidding me? I understand things happen, but really? Another 9 months? Very unprofessional. No thank you! I will look elsewhere.
I personally dropped off my medical records two weeks before Thanksgiving in hopes to make an appointment for prenatal care. Months later (1/21/25) I called to check on the progress because I still haven’t received a phone call back to schedule an appointment and was told they couldn’t find my paperwork! Mind you I’ve been making weekly phone calls checking on the progress, why not just tell me my paperwork was miss placed weeks ago instead of stringing me along!
