Do not ever go see Lindsay Athans. She is the worst doctor I have ever had in my life. She is destroyed my whole life and I don’t know how I will ever fix it. Not that I want to give out my business, but I am on mental health medication’s -many of them. Doctor did not even review Them obviously. Deeply Disappointed With Nuvance Health at Vassar Gynecology I’m extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and communication at Nuvance Health (Vassar GYN). We drove one hour for a scheduled appointment, only to be told—on arrival—that they had supposedly left a voicemail canceling it a month ago. Good luck trying to get an appointment with the OBGYN. Every time you call they say they do not have the schedule and to try another day/week/month. I called every week for two months and finally when they had the schedule available it was already filled. Have always had issues with Nuvance but liked Dr.Sood, when I was able to get an actual appointment. It is time to start looking for a new obgyn hopefully one that can see me in this year. Good luck, Nuvance is the worst with scheduling and billing!!!!

Make sure you double check you appointment details through the portal. Made a new patient appointment. Never got any confirmation email, texts or calls. Showed up the day of to find out the apt was moved to a different day as well as provider and they never attempted to contact me. This is a terrible first impression. Doesn't make me have much faith in the care I might receive if they can't even communicate with their patients.

I have read the reviews and honestly I did not have a bad experience at all. I found Lindsay Athans to be thoughtful, professional and thorough. I also want to compliment Raquel in the front office who went above and beyond to help me schedule what I needed. Very pleasant, efficient and helpful. Thanks Raquel!
