Dr Mahmood is the worst!!! I advise not coming here because first she’s never in the office second she wanted me too get chest x ray and I did and still have not heard from her too start meds for tuberculosis!! This is an AWEFUL practice !! They rather you go to hospital
I had a completely frustrating experience at the Poughkeepsie Infectious Disease Office. Avoid this place at all costs. I called ahead to let them know I’d be 15 minutes late, and was told it was no problem. When I arrived, the receptionist greeted me with a smirk and told me I couldn’t be seen because I was late. I had an absolutely terrible experience at Nuvance Medical and would strongly advise against going there. My son is dealing with a real medical issue, and we called ahead to let them know we would be 15 minutes late, as we were driving a distance and he was relying on me for a ride. Despite this, the receptionist and doctor were completely inflexible. They refused to accommodate us, even though there were no other patients in the office at the time. During my very first appointment with Dr. Nili Gujadhur, she would not see me or speak to me after I was checked in and sitting in the exam room waiting. The nurse let me know that Dr. Gujadhur had just looked at my past medical records while I was waiting and made the determination that there was nothing more she can do for me. It took her a few minutes to come to this conclusion. I left the office feeling hopeless, dismissed, insignificant and someone who completely did not matter.
