For my first visit, I went for an annual, fully covered physical, and because I asked a question about a concern I had during the visit- the Doctor coded it as a special visit and I was charged almost $500. I disputed the charge with my insurer , but was told they could do nothing beacuse NuVance coded it that way. NuVance was impossible to deal with when I followed up . Good luck getting an appointment even being a patient. Called both locations and neither one of the people that answered the phone at the office would make an appointment for a current patient who needs a follow up. Both offices said to call the other.
