This company wont cover shipping costs for warranty repairs. What a scam of a warranty. The negative reviews regarding this companies customer service are accurate. I will not be recommending this company to anyone looking to buy a distiller as I know many people who are looking to purchase. The unit was sparking when plugged in. We love our distiller! The button did break within a year, BUT customer service was excellent. They sent us a new unit when ours was damaged during shipping because we tried to send it back to them for repair. Excellent product and terrific staff!
My review is based on my experience with their customer service. I ordered the distiller to Canada over a month ago and I still do not have it. On the day it was to be delivered to me, I got a notification that it had been turned away at the border and sent back to the seller. So I messaged NutriTeam and asked them what happened. They told me they made a mistake and sent it with the wrong courier and that as soon as they received the distiller back to the warehouse, they would send another one. I purchased the MegaHome water distiller on Amazon on March 17, 2020. I bought it as a backup unit in case my current MegaHome distiller broke down. I recently opened the brand new unit on August 15, 2020. I set up the unit according to instructions and I was able to successfully make 3 batches of distilled water.
