In 1990, Cyanotech founded Nutrex (short for Nutritional Excellence) Hawaii, our finished bottle product subsidiary. At first, Nutrex Hawaii only sold one product, Hawaiian Spirulina®, but has since grown to include BioAstin® Hawaiian Astaxanthin.
