Beautiful store. If your looking for some authentic afghan goods this is it. The owner has been running his shop longer then 30 years because I remember going there as a child and admiring all the beautiful jewelry and trinkets. But aside from a legit selection the owner and his wife are some of the kindest and interesting people. I’m in California but i still miss the good memories associated with this store when I was younger.
This was a great store. Unfortunately it closed during the pandemic, as I just learned last week. Does anyone know of a similar story anywhere in the city? (Including Queens and Brooklyn.)
I don't know if they are open during this pandemic but it is a wonderful store. We have been buying from the Nusratys for 33 years in all their locations. The merchandise is both unusual and beautiful. Mr. Mr. Nusraty is a kind and friendly person. Ellen and Marty
Nice shop, found some great jewelry and purses. Very narrow and messy and many of the products are not from Afghanistan. The proprietor was a little pushy with some but gave me a few discounts, maybe because I spoke Dari.
