I attended Nurturing Minds for a year and had 14 sessions. I found Brionie to be empathetic and we practiced EMDR. However I was cancelled 9 times on the day of my appointment by my psychologist. I would get rescheduled however found this difficult to manage mentally and financially. When reception called to reschedule I asked to have the last appointment of the day and was not allowed as someone else booked them in advance. I’ve had a good experience overall, and the team has been professional and supportive. While there have been some scheduling issues that made it difficult to attend appointments, they were responsive when I raised my concerns and took steps to improve communication. I appreciate their efforts and the care they provide, and I look forward to continuing my treatment with them.

Edit: Sorry but I’m feeling frustrated with the ongoing need to reschedule my appointments, as there always seems to be an issue, and I often find myself needing to rebook. My Zoom appointment yesterday didn’t go ahead due to a miscommunication between reception and the specialists. When I called today to follow up, I was told that my specialist had already informed all patients via text and email that she was unavailable. Very disappointing. Required some follow-up from Suzanne that was never actioned except after a number of phone calls by myself. Would not recommend.
