So disappointed with this place. Nurturing Expressions came highly recommended amongst the mom and doula community here in West Seattle and they fell VERY short with me. I came in to buy a pump and the young girl (who I’ve been told has since been fired) gave me ALL wrong information and instructions pertaining to billing and insurance. Fast forward a month, this girl is long gone and I’m then told I owe $160?! Tracey called to say she would waive that fee (thanks) but it was never refunded. Nurturing Expressions made the whole process of figuring out my breastfeeding supplies so much easier. The staff is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable--they explained in detail the pros/cons of varying breast pumps, bottles, pacifiers etc...and in a way that was easy to understand. I love that they do breast pump accessory fittings to ensure you are ordering the correct sizes. Not having the correct size can have a huge impact on your breastfeeding experience. I went there to pick up a breast pump. The manager was very unwelcoming and snobby.
I recently had an excellent lactation consult with Andrea at this location. I had messed up my booking but she was still willing to see me because she had a cancellation, which I am so grateful for! She was very thorough, understanding, and clear on solutions for some of the issues I’d been encountering in the first days of feeding.
