The email communication is ZERO. So, I called to cancel my auto- renew and got confirmation that it was canceled. I then received an email stating my policy would be re- newed and I would be charged. I emailed over 7 times WITH NO RESPONSE. Extremely frustrated with the communication. Do NOT use this company. Everything falls through the cracks.
Unfortunately, this organization sent me a message that my insurance was cancelled. Then I paid them via check thinking that my automated payments may need to be reinstated. I am waiting for the VA to accept me into their network of providers so want to be sure all my insurance is in good standing. NSO cashed my check. Then they put the automatic payment through onto one of my credit cards so I paid twice. Would not recommend using this company, I only needed insurance for a year and they put me on automatic payment which I had no idea about and would not have normally put something like this on automatic payment, now it won’t let me cancel. Customer service will not return my emails or calls -will definitely not be using this company in the future.
Not really sure why they have a 4.5 star rating. Canceling policy is borderline impossible. Luckily I was able to turn off the autocharge for renewal for the insurance. All I know is if I get charged tomorrow it will be an issue and I will be contacting my credit card company IMMEDIATELY.
Fortunately, I’ve never had to use my NSO policy, and hopefully I never will, so I cannot rate the actual service they provide. But if their renewal process is anything to go by, beware. The website is bare bones, and basically the only thing you can do on your account is renew your policy. Want a copy? Nowhere to be found. Wish to amend something? Too bad.
